Job Description
Our client is looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with additional competencies within facility maintenance. You will install & perform preventative maintenance & repairs on equipment/electrical systems/plumbing
Your Responsibilities
• Preventive maintenance & repairs on conveyors, stacker cranes, loading bay docks & other machinery.
• Maintenance around the site/grounds/trailers including such tasks as changing bulbs, bashing out bumps, putting things on walls.
• Ordering parts where required.
• Inspection of refrigeration systems.
• Operation of power tools, cutting torch & other welding equipment.
• Utilising motorised lift/rental equipment.
Skills and Knowledge
• Must have a full UK Driver’s Licence and be able to travel to other sites when required.
• Able to work in temperatures ranging from -25c to 37c whilst wearing freezer gear/PPE.
• Able to lift a minimum of 25kg.
• Comfortable working at heights and in loud environments.
• Skills in basic computing, multi-tasking, organisation, problem-solving.
• Fully proficient with power tools & hand tools.
• Able to complete preventative maintenance with supervision/instruction.
• Willing to work overtime and be flexible to help out at short notice.
Experience
• Electrical Engineering NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent.
